What YOU Can Do

Here’s How You Can Help…

1. Tell the Sponsors: Contact KTAR’s sponsors to ask them if they’re aware of the hate speech that’s used to promote their products. Feel free to mention your new fav website too: www.KTARSUCKS.com…

2. Spread the word: Email 92 of your friends to tell them about this website and to tell them exactly how much KTAR sucks.

3. Tell the Sponsors: Did you do #1 yet? That’s the important one.

4. Keep in touch: Connect with us on Facebook and Twitter. And leave some feedback too.

dude… you are wasting your time. advertisers don’t give a shit if it’s hate speech. if you call them and tell them that you don’t like KTAR’s hate speech, their reaction is going to be… guess what? Buy more ads! It’s working! If someone calls you to complain, that means people are listening, something which they don’t really KNOW otherwise (arbitron is such b.s.). In fact, I bet you yourself are a Bonneville employee! I wouldn’t doubt it. I should know, I used to work there.

Not true. Look at what happened with KSFO a few years ago with a blogger named Spocko. Some advertisers do worry if their products are promoted by offensive hate-speech.

KTAR must have removed the comments you saw before. At least they’ve gotten tougher on these comments. They were pretty bad a while back.

yeah, they were. they had to take them down for a while, even though it clearly states “use at your own risk”. people actually threatened to kill other human beings, it got so bad… It’s still scary to see how ignorant and hateful people are.

What horrible people we should all tune our radios to some great fair minded progressive talk. There we will only get very tolorant talk show hosts who never say anything that can be taken out of context.

your use of the “N” word on your web site is more offensive than the way Ankarlo used it. You racist people should be ashamed of your self. I can’t believe you would put such a word in print..

This is what I think is rediculaus, this website and you…stop harrassing poeple who follow Ankarlo on twitter. If you hate him and KTAR soo much don’t listen. From looking at your webpage it seems like you listen just to find something that you disagree with. The great thing about this country is nobody forces you to do something that you do not want to do. Have a great day.

come on you gotta get real about this man. if you don’t like ktar, don’t listen. i have yet to hear any of this “hate” speech you speak of. if you really want to combat ktar as some “evil” radio station, be an entrepenuer and run your own news station. or use this website you pay for and use it for the “real” news that you claim is not being reported. bashing a hard working radio host doesn’t benefit anyone you seem to be trying to protect.

Why are you only upset about the things Ankarlo says about gays and people who are not “white”.
He has said plenty of things that could be considered offensive about mormons, catholics, jews, fat people, skinny people, face book addicts, drug addicts, and the list goes on. You are picking and choosing what to be angry about and that is disingenious. You’re just like all the other faceless, liberal, progressive, retards that just jump on the racism train to further your hate.

You claim that Ankarlo has said plenty of things offensive about “mormons, catholics, jews, fat people, skinny people…”. Really? To the same degree to which he has spoken about gays and racial minorities? Then show me. If it’s true, I’ll post it.

If I lived in my mother’s basement and ate cheetos all day like you do I might have some time to “find” those particular qoutes. I know he’s said some like I’m describing because I’m not gay or a minority and I’ve been offended personaly, but I can get over it.

Must be embarrassing for you not to be able to back up your original claim. Better luck next time.

I find all point of view interesting and worth reading. That said I find it cowardly of anyone unwilling to sign their name to a editorial! If you don’t believe enough in what you are writing to sign your name then how do you expect other people to take you seriously.

I may not always agree with the things people say but I respect them if they are will to put their name behind.

      > If you don’t believe enough in what you are writing to sign your name then…

It’s not a question of how much I believe it. And I’m not asking anyone to take my word for it. I’m backing up my statements with audio and written proof. So there’s no leap of trust here. Therefore I don’t see how my name is relevant.

If I told you it was raining outside and then gave you a window to look out of to see for yourself…what difference does my name make in your determination if it was actually raining outside?

If you had read the blog, you would see that I had provided not only the context for most clips, but also the dates that the clips were taken. This was so that anyone can go to the original and see for themselves.

I’m all for free speech and I’m indifferent as far as the liking/hating of KTAR.

I’m just wondering why, if you feel so stronly, don’t you come out and identify yourself, maybe some people would become involved and help you get your word out. The mere fact that you are a nameless, faceless blog online takes away some credibility. Show your name and face and see what kind of support you get.

You are definitely getting positive feedback here. Why hide?

–Or if you want to remain anonymous, just post your reason.

Why I don’t give my name? Two reasons:

#1: Why should I? If I’m not an already known person (politician, celebrity, etc), what difference does it make? You either acknowledge reality or you don’t. I don’t want any additional help unless you can objectively look/listen to what Ankarlo says…and understand that the that things he says and asks people to do is wrong/immoral/bigoted. And if you don’t see this, then my name and picture would/should not help persuade you either.

#2: After listening to Ankarlo for a few years now, he has many times encouraged his listeners to take the law into their own hands. The last thing I need is Ankarlo to say my name on the air so that a few right-wing nuts can look up my address and harass (or worse) me or my family or my neighborhood.

      Is this satisfactory?
